Výběrová řízení - Akademie věd České republikyWe are looking for a postdoc experienced in plasmonics to join our newly established group at J.Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague! The project aims to develop new tools for sub-diffraction manipulation of light using plasmonic nanoparticles.We use single molecule localization microscopy and other single molecule microscopy and spectroscopy techniques,DNA nanotechnology and machine learning to create and reconstruct plasmon-modulated images.‍ The position is for 4  years XXXX XXX possibility of research stays in collaborating laboratories throughout Europe (Germany,France).Our group was established in 2021 and is ready for rapid take-off! We XXX a dynamic team that values independence,diversity,and an open,friendly,and collaborative environment.Become a foundation member and shape the face of XXX group <.> ‍Requirements The ideal candidate has earned their PhD in physics,or related fields with focus on plasmonics or electromagnetic field.Experience XXXX XXX fabrication of plasmonic structures in XXX form of nanoparticle assemblies,using plasmonic structures for enhancement of optical signals,or theoretical modeling of plasmonic systems is welcome.We encourage theoreticians as well as experimentalists to apply.The project is very interdisciplinary and you will have to cooperate with non-physicists,so excellent communication skills and curiosity about other XXXXXX XXX a big asset.‍ Type of contract: Temporary Job-status: Full-time Envisaged Job Starting Date: January 2023 ‍ Benefits - 25 days paid leave of absence (holidays) per year + 3 days of paid sick leave in addition  to the statutory insurance - Flexible working-time,the possibility of part-time work,work-life balance - Lunch vouchers - Subsidy for sport and cultural activities - Recreation subsidy,recreation subsidy for children - Possibility of attending children groups of XXX CAS - Possibility to use discounts in recreation centers of XXX CAS ...
