Výběrová řízení - Akademie věd České republiky01.04.2022 Biotechnologický ústav AV ČR,v.v.i.vyhlašuje v souladu se zákonem č.283/1992 Sb.o Akademii věd České republiky,ve znění zákona č.420/2005 Sb.a Stanov AV ČR výběrové řízení na pozici.The position is available in XXX Laboratory of Cellular metabolism,located at the Institute of Biotechnology in BIOCEV.We XXX a young,international research team that studies metabolism in XXX context of healthy and tumor tissue,using genetic mouse models,metabolic approaches and omics technologies.Previously we discovered that quiescent endothelial cells re-wire metabolism to maintain stress resistance and found a major role for oxidative phosphorylation and autophagy in this process (Magalhaes-Novais et al,Autophagy,2022).Now we plan to extend these findings and XXX XXX metabolism of quiescent endothelium in more detail,to identify molecular mechanisms of metabolic stress resistance in XXX endothelium with relevance to disease.More details about the laboratory are at: https://www.ibt.cas.cz/en/research/laboratory-of-cellular-metabolism/ Job description: You will use genetic mouse models and pooled CRISPR screens to search for metabolic pathways that provide oxidative stress resistance in XXX endothelium.You will oversee your research project but will also function as a part of a team.You will contribute to supervision of junior colleagues,writing of manuscripts,reports and proposals and will present the project results at (inter-)national meetings.Requirements: Publication record in peer-reviewed international journals Experience with endothelial biology,metabolism,gene manipulations,omics techniques or mouse models will be considered as an extra advantage Excellent communication skills and teamwork,and ability to plan and work independently English,written and spoken,advanced level Institute and workplace location: The Institute of Biotechnology (IBT,ibt.cas.cz) is a top-class multi-disciplinary research center in XXX XXXXX R...
