Požadavky
Výběrová řízení - Akademie věd České republikyThe PhD candidate(s) will work with Dr.XXXXX XXXXXXX and Dr.XXXXXX XXXXX and their teams on a mutlidisciplinary project exploiting tunable spectroscopy and electrochemistry of two-dimensional (2D) materials. We offer up to three positions in these areas:
1.Development and application of a state-of-the-art in-situ spectroelectrochemical method for characterization, control, and tuning of 2D materials' optical, electronic, and electrochemical properties. We will combine electrolyte gating with Raman/photoluminescence spectroscopy,electrochemistry,and/or electron transport at the micro- and nanoscale. In particular, graphene and semiconducting metal transition dichalcogenides will be studied.                                                                                                                                                           2.Investigation of fundamental physics at the interface between 2D semiconductors and metals. We will use mechanical exfoliation of a range of 2D materials onto metallic surfaces under ambient and ultra-high vacuum conditions. This will allow us to control the surface properties at the atomic scale and to understand the mechanical strain, orbital hybridization, and interface cleanliness. You will also be using a range of techniques including Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy, optical lithography, and advanced preparation techniques with microscale precision.                                              3.Study of plasmon-exciton interactions in 2D semiconductors, mainly transition metal dichalcogenides,by means of tip-enhanced photoluminescence and Raman spectroscopy (TEPL and TERS).The system will be explored primarily in air, then in electrolyte solutions,XXXX XXX XXX to influence and tune these interactions. Our team is part of a larger collaboration XXXX XXX groups of Dr.XXXXXX XXXXXX and Prof.XXXXXXXX XXXXX,including more than...
